Best Infant Car Seats of 2017 | Nuna | Chicco | Cybex | UPPAbaby | Doona | Magic Beans

The infant car seat. It’s the first piece of baby gear in which you’ll show off your bundle of joy! In this video, Eli keeps you informed and updated on the Best Infant Car Seats of 2017. All are available for free shipping at

Nuna Pipa: Weighing in at 7.7 pounds, parents love the easy carry of the Nuna Pipa. It easily installs with the Rigid LATCH system and has extra secure protection with a load leg! It also features an adorable dream drape for extra privacy and a dim nap for baby.

Chicco Keyfit 30: A popular option and great value, the Chicco Keyfit 30 provides safety and simple installation you expect from an infant car seat. Secure the Chicco Keyfit 30 into your car with LATCH connectors. It also has an infant insert to keep your newborn super snug.

UPPAbaby Mesa: UPPAbaby has rolled out impressive innovation with the Mesa this year! Their SmartSecure LATCH system makes it incredibly clear that you’ve properly installed your baby’s car seat. The no-rethread harness at the cushion will grow with your baby. Also, the “Henry” color features a wool cover that’s a natural fire retardant!

Cybex Cloud Q: In their 2017 model, Cybex has given parents extra safety and convenience with the Cloud Q. It’s got a load leg, a tensioning plate to ensure installation, and pop-out LSP arms for side impact protection. For convenience’s sake, you can install a Cloud Q with just a seatbelt, and while it’s attached to a stroller you can recline your baby!

Doona Infant Car Seat/Stroller: You heard us right! The Doona really is the star of the show, as you can easily convert it from a car seat to a stroller. The wheels and handlebar actually provide extra protection for your baby when it’s in car seat form–a win-win! Most importantly, on-the-go parents can install the Doona in a car or taxi without a base.

Peter Standen says:

Hi was just wondering what is the safest car seat, I have a baby due in October and I’m really mad on safety.

Jonn frankcoiz Villafranca says:

Great infant car seat reviews! I just would like to ask if you can give me advice which car seat should I buy, something that I can use as a stroller as well. i like the Doona car seat that act as a stroller as well but I’m afraid it is only as good as your infant can be accommodated which is most likely up until 11-12 months (depending of course on the weight and height) as infant grows very rapidly for the first year of life and it can outgrown the car seat easily. by that time i’ll be needing to buy another stroller. I’m looking for an infant car seat that can be used for my infant’s first year and a compatible stroller that I can use up until maybe 2-3 years of age. so once my baby outgrown the infant car seat i can just buy another upgrade car seat and can put that car seat on my old stroller, thereby limiting to buy multiple strollers. a sort of car seat system from infant up to pre-schooler maybe? hope you can help. thanks.
