Please re-read your manual because you always should use the back tether strap as well when latching in your car seat correctly. Read your car manual as well which will show you where on the back of that seat is the back tether latch.

Good effort on a car seat review/install video. I’m a CPST. Given that lots of parents use videos like this to aid them in installing their own seats, there are two things I’d like to note: it would be good to review terminology so that people are not confused when you refer to many things as “straps” and “hooks,” etc. Also, in a forward facing installation, the top tether should ALWAYS be used. You dismiss it in the review prior to going to the car and in the car you can see that it is still bound up behind the seat. This is a very important element that helps reduce head excursion.
