Here’s how much more leg room there is in a Model X compared to Model S when you have a rear-facing car seat behind you. (I’m 6′ tall).

Excellent information as usual. Model X should be great for your Model Y addition soon ! 😉 Been watching your channel for a while and you consistently provide useful and entertaining content. Can’t wait for you and your family’s adventures in Model X!

I miss our Model X. At five months old and 5400 miles, about a week ago my 87-year old dad crashed it into the house. No one was hurt but now we’ve got a pretty big hole in our inside garage wall and laundry room, and if the $75,000 repair cost doesn’t cause our Model X to be totaled, we were advised not to expect it back for six months.

Nice job. We have an S and I’m the same height as you. My 2 1/2 year old rear faces when it’s just me and her. But on family trips, I have her front facing otherwise it would be an unhappy trip. My daughter is just about 36 inches. Love the S but I don’t recommend it for families if you have to rear face. Forward facing is doable but because of the height, it’s definitely not the most convenient.

Ron Standley says:

It’d help me to know how tall you are, for me to get a sense of relativity. Good ergonomic study and comparison.
