Nuna Rava Convertible Car Seat | Best Most Popular | Reviews | Prices

Meet the new Nuna Rava Convertible Car Seat, an exciting debut from one of our favorite brands! Nuna is known for creating baby gear with unique functionality and a cool modern aesthetic, and the Rava car seat is a great addition to their collection.

In this video, Eli Gurock, co-owner of Magic Beans, talks about what we love about the Rava, and demonstrates its coolest features, starting with the incredibly easy installation. Because LATCH installation has a lower weight limit than seat belt installation, the designers at Nuna concentrated on optimizing the process of installing the Rava with the seat belt, and it’s incredibly easy to do! Watch Eli demonstrate how you can install this convertible car seat in minutes with no tugging or pushing.

The Nuna Rava Convertible Car Seat is also optimized for extended rear-facing, which is safest for your child. In addition to a 50-pound rear-facing weight limit, the Rava boasts “laid back leg room,” a pop-out leg rest that upgrades your little passenger to business class! It ensures that bigger kids will stay comfortable rear-facing for longer, helping you get the most out of all of these great safety features.

There’s so much more to say about the Nuna Rava, so watch the video! If you have any questions about the Nuna Rava or want to compare it to other top-of-the-line convertible car seats, our baby gear experts are here to help: email us at, or sign up for a FREE consultation with our gear gurus below

Hi Eli. I wanted to ask about the comfort of the child while riding the car seat. I have read many reviews on other car seats about mother’s complaining that the material of the car seat is too hot (doesn’t provide enough ventilation) whether in the fabric or the design on the seat. What are your thoughts on this car seat? Also wanted to know how easy is it to clean the car seat? Haven’t had a blow out in the car seat yet but now that my daughter is eating solids would like to know how easy/hard would this car seat be to clean. Will be needing are new car seat soon as my daughter will soon need an upgrade. Thanks in advance.

Hi, I am debating on maxi cosi pria 85 and this one, the installation is not a problem, however the main concern is the fit of my baby, she is 2 and still want to keep her rear facing, the britax advocate cliktight that we already have it’s not really good for the legroom. We tried the pria85 in the store and I like that it gives her a lot of legroom. I wish I can try the rava but I don’t have where around here

Hamideh F.D. says:

I would like to know your thoughts on Nuna Rava vs. Cybex Pallas 2 Fix car seat? I would highly appreciate it if you could do a demo on the two!

Giovonni says:

Eli, you say “you don’t want to tension the seat belt”, however in my experience that leaves the car seat loose. The manual states after feeding it in, to pull the shoulder harness so that it tightens and locks. Perhaps you should read it and revise this video.
