Nuna MIXX Stroller Review

Three seat options, great suspension and foam-filled airless tires are just a few things that make the Nuna MIXX such a popular and chic stroller. Bekah tells you all about it!

And here’s a “How to Choose a Travel System” guide with more info for you:

The Nuna Mixx² has the thoughtful details we expect and appreciate in higher-end strollers: two-way facing toddler seat, an adjustable handlebar, an ample sunshade, great under-seat storage, etc. It even comes with a rain cover. What distinguishes it is the fully flat reclining position—not kinda flat, but actually flat with a foot rest that folds up to make it more like a bassinet—meaning it can actually be used from birth if you want. Also it comes with the car seat adapter for the Nuna Pipa if you want to commit and just be a Nuna family.

The Mixx² includes black wheels and hand-sewn leather-look arm and push bars for an extra nice look. Though the stroller’s design is sleek and folding is a cinch, parents in walkup apartments warn that its collapsed form can be a little bulky and hard to handle in smaller living spaces.

Does the new 2019 MIXX come with same features? It is available online but I think it may truly be a 2018 mode but they just lost it as 2019. Thanks!

Does yours have the terrible squeak issue and do you find the canopy snaps back when in lie flat mode? I’m really tempted by the MIXX2 (I currently have a pepp lux for my toddler but am expecting again) but these issues are putting me off. Also, does the Maxi Cosi car seat fit to it?

stephanie yost says:

Ours was gifted to us, we really enjoy it. The one thing that I wish was a bit better is that the front wheels are small enough that sometimes we get stuck on sidewalk bumps.

CocoaNia says:

Hi! Thanks for this great review. I was wondering how tall is the seat? My husband and I are tall parents so we expect a pretty sizable toddler. Just wondering if he/she will fit nicely. How tall is your baby girl?

Joel Gottesman says:

Hi folks! Anybody have experience with the Mixx on uneven and/or bumpy sidewalks?
