Welcome to our review of the IMMI Go Hybrid Uber Car Seat Booster! In this review, Eli Gurock, owner of Magic Beans, demonstrates the features of the IMMI Go Uber car seat, and explains why it’s a great fit for the busy lifestyles of today’s modern parent.

Every child under age 8 needs to be riding in a car seat or booster; not only is it safer, but it’se the law! But most convertible car seats and boosters are bulky, and many can be complex to install. Not so for the IMMI Go! It weighs only 10 pounds, comes in an attached travel bag, and installs in under two minutes using LATCH and the top tether. This is why the IMMI Go is the seat used when you order Uber car seat service: it’s portable, and it’s super easy.

Because of this ease-of-use, the IMMI Go is great for:

– Traveling away from home – use it in cabs, rental cars, and Ubers!
– Grandparents’ cars – toss it in the trunk, install it when the grandkids visit!
– Nannies and babysitters – instead of having a huge car seat installed at all times in their car, they can just LATCH this car seat in when the kids need a ride!

…and so much more. Plus, the IMMI company is known for manufacturing the components used in car seats from other top brands, so you can be assured that it’s a very high-quality seat.

The IMMI GO has been tested and approved for forward-facing use for ages 1 and up. However, the AAP recommends keeping your child rear-facing at all times in vehicles up to age 2, and we recommend rear-facing for as long as you can manage – it’s just so much more effective at keeping kids safe! Plus, some states legally require rear-facing up to age 2. So please: keep an eye on your local laws, consult your pediatrician, and use your best judgment.
